League House Delegates Elect New Chairman Announce First In Series Of Sunday Suppers To Be Held Jan. 16 Eetty Notley, '40, was elected temporary chairman of the League House Representatives and a com- mittee was appointed to plan a Sun- day night supper at the first regular meeting of the newly-formed group held at 4:30 p.m. yesterday in the Grand Rapids Room of the League. Mary Evelyn Owen, '39, Betty My- ers, '40, Mildred Pawloski, '40 and Helen Barnett, '41, were the mem- bers appointed to make arrangements for the Sunday night supper, the first social function to be given by the! organization.t To Hold Supper Jan. 16 The date will be Jan. 16, and the affair will be held at the League. Al- though men will not be invited to this first supper, they will probably come to later ones, Miss Notley said. The women living in the League houses in Zone I will be the hostesses for the supper. Miss Ethel McCormick, social di- rector of the League, opened the meeting of the Representatives with . a discussion of the social projects they could undertake.
