The Sophomores gave their party in the union Friday night . . . to the tune of Reggie Childs, his orchestra and loads of fun . . . The decorations were really super but the silver stars on the red velvet drapes offered no end of temptations and amusement for everybody . .. The silver Christmas trees glistened . . . and Santa was at the door of the ballroom ushering Frances Sutherland and Bill Steytler in as we came down the hall . . . He was distributing dance programs too and we saw him giving one to Janet Carver who was there with Carl Johnson . . . Marian Gommesen and Ken Meyer in the ballroom when we arrived and the music was in session ... Barb Teall and Art Ricker were watching Reggie flourish his baton ... and we saw Frances Bonisteel there with John Wallace . . . Mary Margaret Meloche and Phil Gordy were also in the prom party as were Maxine Nelsonj and Rogers Bradley. Phi Gam Is First Stop... At intermission we left the Prom to take in some of the other gala parties and the first stop was the Phi Gam pledge formal ... Then over to the Lambda Chi party to join in their fun . . . Dorothy White and Shorty Wolfe were already having their share . . . and Dody Wagner and Roy Gerardi had arrived earlier too. . . so the party was in full swing ... Betty Boothby and Dick Hassberger were whipping up some numbers .. . and we saw Shirley Todt there with David Crum . . .
