SUNDAY, DEC.1, 13 THE MICHIGAN DAILY PAGE SEMI Modern Dance Club Will Give Annual Recital Third Christmas Program To Feature Voice Trio, Pre-Classic Dances The third annual Christmas danceI program given by the women's mod- ern dance club, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Women's Ath- letic Building, Beatrice Lovejoy, '38, club president, announced. The program will be opened by a voice trio composed of Eileen Lay, '38; Grace Wilson, '39; and Ann Schaeffer, '40. A dance suite, a group of pre-classic dance forms, will be next. This will be composed of "Salutation," "Gay Dance," "Rustic Dance," "Merry Dance" and "Closing Dance." The last number on the pro- gram will be "Jubilation," a section from the dance called "Judith" which was composed by Miss Ruth Bloomer, club faculty advisor. Club Members To Take Part i The members of the dance club# who will take part in the program are Miss Lovejoy, Virginia Brigham, '40, Doris Dartz, '39, Beatrice Dan- ziger, '40, Sarah Graf, Grad., Bar-, bara Guest, '40, Elaine Hamilton, '39, and Virginia Hoelzle, '39. Miss Bloomer Is Director The director of the program is to be Miss Bloomer; the accompanist, Ward Allen, L. Miss Danziger and Miss Miller are in charge of cos- tumes and Miss Jenness and Miss will supervise the decorations. The W.A.A. is responsible for the further arrangements.
