Ruckmick, profes- sor of psychology at the University of Iowa, will speak here Wednesday on "Emotions in the Motion Picture Theatre." Dr. Ruckmick is an authority in the subject of emotions and has done much research in that field as well as being the author of a book on that subject. He is a graduate of Amherst College and obtained his Ph. D. de; gree from Cornell University. He has been active in work in the field of psychology and has written for several publications. He is editor of the Psychological Index and the American Journal of Psychology as well as the author of several texts on psychology, including "The Mental Life." He will speak at 4:15 p.m. in the Natural Science auditorium.
