Virgina Carr, '38A, head of the patrons committee, will take John Mumford, '38, to the ball. Harry Denyes, '39A, will be the guest of Jean Smith, '40A, program chairman. Bruce Elliott, '40A, will have as his guest Beth O'Roke, '40A. Dorothy Barrett, '39A, decorations chairman, will have as her guest 1- fred Roth, of Detroit, and Ann Ved- der, '41A, will attend the dance with George Sprau, '38A, head of enter- tainment. Marguerite McQuillan, '39A, will be the guest of James Mitchell, '38A, ticket chairman. Morris Mor'an, Grad., will attend the ball with Jean Steere, '38A. Fred Shear, of Ann A4bor, will be the guest of Miss Mc- Conkey. Tickets will be sold today at the League and the Union, according to Mitchell, but there will be no tickets, sold at the door. Charles Gaylord will play for the ball. He is the inventor of the "Vi- bra-Brass" and the "Violectric," which he uses to synchronize the mu- sic of his orchestra. A floor show will be given dcpring thie dance. Gamma Phi Beta, Delta Gamma (1), Delta Gamma (2) and Kappa Delta arethe winners in the quarter- final debates held today. Gamma Phi Beta's team composed of Jean Tibbits, '40, and Barbara Newton, '41, won over Clara Lee Keller, '41, and JeanTenofsky, '41, League House Independents. Phyllis Elder, '38Ed., and Margery Lee Leh- ner, '38, debating on Delta Gamma's second team, defeated Katherine Howell, '41, and Margaret Triplet, '39Ed., of Martha Cook. Delta Delta Delta's team composed of Jane Elspass, '40, and Marion Fleming, '40, were defeated by Jane Sturtridge, '38, and Elizabeth Ann Emswiler, '40, of Kappa Delta. Delta Gamma's first team of Jane Krause, '41, and Mary Rall, '39, won over Edith Leveene, '41 and Mary Pattie, '41, debating for Jordan Hall. Sigma Alpha Iota Muicale Is Today Sigma Alpha Iota, national music sorority, will hold a formal musicale at 8:30 p.m. today at the home of Mrs. Jones Inglis. This program is the culmination of the year's work of the organization. Two of the founders of the sorority will be present: Miss Nora Hunt hand Miss Elizabeth Campbell. Other guests at the program will be Dr. and Mrs. E. V. Moore; Pres. and Mrs. Charles Sink; Dr. and Mrs. Hardin Van Deursen; Dr. and Mrs. Peter' Okkelberg, and Miss Nell Stockwell. Mrs. A. F. Alpha Rho Chi is giving a dinner preceeding Architects Ball which will be chaperoned by Prof. and Mrs. George G. Ross and Prof. and Mrs. Ralph Hammett. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bothman, Prof. and Mrs. Ray Patelski and Mr. and Mrs. B. Schmit will chaperon Kappa Nu's spring formal, the first of the activities planned for the week- end house party. The dance is being given at the Huron- Hills Country Club, and Bill McKay's orchestra will play. An informal radio dance will be given by Phi Kappa Sigma. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Angell and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Townsley will chaperon. Theta Chi's Bowery Ball, with mu- sic by Rocco and his Rockettes, from Detroit, will be chaperoned by Mr. and Mrs. W.
