To Discuss Business There will be a short business meet- ing, following which plans for the coming year will be outlined and the new officers, who, with the four ex- ecutives, make up the Executive Council, will be presented. BETTY JANE MANSFIELD Lea gue Petitions Due Tomorrow Women To Seek Positions On Seven Committees Petitioning for membership one seven League committees will begin tomorrow and continue through Thursday, it was announced yester- day by Jean Holland, '39, president of the League. Miss Holland stressed the fact that freshman women as well as upper- class women can petition. There will be no interviewing, and committee appointments will be announced early this week. Women can petition for member- ship on the social, theatre-arts, merit system, publicity, candy booth, ball- room and dancing class committees. Formerly the three vice-presidents of the League in charge of the three last mentioned committees called women 'individually for work but it. was felt committees would be filled more..easily by petitioning Miss Hol- land said.
