Medical Men Dubious Over Cancer Cure Authenticity Of 'Emsol,' Protein Destroyer, Is Questioned By Doctors Obscurity surrounding the "cancer cure" said to have been discovered by Dr. Henry C. Connell of Queen University, Kingston, Canada, has caused most medical men to doubt its. authenticity reported Dr. Mark Mar- shall, chief of staff of the St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital, yesterday. Dr. MarshAli cited the Journal of the American Medical Association as pointing out that Dr. Connell had made no report of his researches either before or after it was pub- licized in the press, and that his de- scription of the method of prepara- tion of his cancer-curing product is so incomplete and confused as to make duplication of his work impos- sible. A solution, called "emsol," con- taining enzymes capable of destroy- -ing proteins and manufactured through the bacillus histolyticus, is Dr. Connell's discovery, according to press accounts. This solution prac- tically dissolves cancerous tissue CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING Place advertisements with Clasified Wivertising Department. Phone 2-1214.
