TIHE MICHIGAN DAILY PAGE THREE Persian Art To Be Exhibited Here Feb. 14 A collection of Persian miniature paintings will be shown from Feb. 14 to March 14 in the south gallery of Alumni Memorial Hall, it was an- nounced yesterday by Dr. M. Aga- Oglu of the department of fine arts. The exhibition is sponsored by the Research Seminary in Islamic Art of the Division of Fine Arts. This collection is the first of its kind to be shown on the campus, Dr. Aga-Oglu explained, and is made possible through the kindness of the owner, Mr. H. Kevorkian of New York. Almost all schools and periods of Persian pictorial art are represented in the collection of over eighty paint- ings, the pictures ranging in time from the thirteenth to the seven- teenth century, Dr. Aga-Oglu said. One fresco is included in the exhibit, while all the other pieces are illus- trations from books. In connection with the exhibit Dr. Aga-Oglu is giving a series of three lectures. The first, which will be for faculty members, will be given at 4:00 p.m., Feb. 15 in the south gallery of Alumni Memorial Hall. A second lecture for students will be given at the same time and place on Feb. 22, while a third for the inter- ested public, likewise at the same time and place, will be given on March 1. The lectures will be illustrated with lantern slides and will be followed by discussion in the gallery MURDER SCENE DESTROYED DOWAGIAC, Feb. 11- (AP) - A house where an unsolved triple slay- ing occurred in 1921 burned here Monday and authorities were investi- gating the origin of the fire. fold, according to Robert P.
