The annual Easter charity ball un-
der the sponsorship of the League of
St. Andrew's was held last night in
the Union ballroom following dinner

Cress in black taffeta with revelers of
rows of white lace ruffles and Mrs.
Theophil Klingman in navy blue or-

skirt and a row of three silver but-
tons on the right side was worn by
Mrs. W. Newcomb.

of printed chiffon in shades of brown
and orange with a large orange flow-
er at the front of the neck, and Mrs.
Robert C. Angell wore a printed crepe.

TAT TO
"HAWAIIAN"
can't turn purplish
How they've done it, we
don't know, but it's just as true
as true can be; here, at last, is a
transparent, highly indelible lipstick
that just can't leave a purplish under-
tone. It will actually stain your lips to
the same daring hue as the stick itself.
And such a hue! We've never seen one
so bright, yet so soft . . . so full of
"promise." If you want to "Go Native,"
just come in and ask for TArroo
"HAWAIIAN." We weren't able to get
many of them a a. So, come early!
