Franz Schubert would turn over twice in his grave if he could see Nils Asther impersonating him and hear his music murdered as it is in "Love Time." The story of this picture is supposed to be his love story, which beside the fact of his greatness, is ordinary. Many will remember the story of "Iolanthe," the fairy who breaks her vows by marrying a mortal man. She is condemned by her fairy queen, who twenty-five years later repents and brings her back to the fold. During the interim, a. half mortal-half im- moratal son was born to Iolanthe. He falls in love with a mortal - a ward of the Lord Chancellor of England, who cannot marry a commoner. All sorts of delightful situations result, and to these are added the inimitable Gilbert and Sullivan touches and side issues, plus th6 light opera element, all of which make it a charming piece of entertainment.
