FOURTH QUARTER
Borgmann and Triplehorn replaced
Hanshue and Jennings for Michigan.
Fuog went in for Ford, also for Mich-
igan. Oliver's pass for Patanelli went
over the latter's head. Oliver failed
to gain on a fake pass. Oliver's pass
to Savage on the 23 was called back
as Michigan was penalized 5 yards
for being offside. Oliver's pass to
Patanelli was knocked down by Wise-
man. Time out for State, Klewicki
being hurt. Oliver fumbled the pass
from center, and lost a yard. State's
ball on their own 47.
Colina hit center for 3. Wiseman
carried the ball for 3 yards off tackle.

to Ward, who lateraled to Aug, the

on which they couldn't capitalize
when Jacobson recovered Colina's
fumble on State's 42-yard mark as
the quarter ended.
Oliver completed a long pass to Pat-
anelli which would have put Michigant
in scoring position, but a Michigan1
linesnian was offside and the oppor-
tunity was lost.
After an exchange of punts Don
Wiseman took the ball on his own
brought him down from behind with
a beautiful tackle.
A moment later Warmbein cut
through the same hole in right tackle
and ran 28 yards behind quick-form-
ing interference for a touchdown.
With the end of the game nearing
Oliver started throwing long, desper-
ate passes, one of which Warmbein
intercepted and ran back to Mich-
igan's nine-yard stripe. Three plays
later Warmbein again cut through
right tackle for a touchdown. Sebo's
kick for the point after touchdown
was good.

Chicago, the defending champion,
was -all even with twenty-year-old
Dorothy Traung, of San Francisco to-
day at the halfway mark of their 36-
hole final for the National Women's
golf championship. Both scored 85's.
