THE MICHIGAN DAILY Girl's Glee Club Will Give Concert The Freshmarr Girl's Glee Club will present a concert in the Grand Rap- ids Room of the League at 8:15 p.m. before the Lantern Dance Tuesday. 'his concert will be the first for- mal entertainment that the club has presented this year. Mary Anne Mathewson, '34, has been in charge of the Club this season, and will di- rect the program Tuesday. Among the numbers to be pre-. sented will be a group of religious songs. Between the song groups. Jeannette Rabinowitz, '34SM, and' Sarah Lacey, '34SM, will play a few- piano solos. The program also in- cludes a number of Chinese selec- tions. The patrons and patronesses for the Freshman Lantern dance have been invited to attend. There are still a few invitations left which may be pro- cured from Mary E. King, '37. LEAVES FOR WASHINGTON Dean J. B. Edmonson of the School of Education has left for Washington, D.C., to confer again with George F. Zook, United States Commissioner of Education, on plans to relieve the youth unemployment problem.
