Dr. George T. Harding, Jr., brother
of the late President Warren Hard-
ing, was stricken with a heart attack
at his Worthington, o., home.
Students Cautioned To
Give Attention To Colds
The prevalence of pneumonia and
influenza in nearby cities in Michi-
gan coupled with the usual increase
of respiratory diseases at this time
of year should be sufficient warning
to students to take precautionary
measures in safeguarding t h e i r
health, according to an official state-
ment of the University Health Ser-
vice released yesterday.
Two cases of pneumonia and sev-
eral cases of respiratory infection are
at present in the infirmary. and al-
though this is not unusual at this
time of the year, students can avoid
contracting the diseases by avoiding
exposure and by giving prompt at-
tention to simple colds.

The artists' side of the Radio City
controversy over the murals of Diego

also an assistant, come under the
sponsorship of the Vanguard Club to
lecture on "Diego Rivera's Frescos
in New York."
Illustrated with 60 lanter slides
depicting portions of the murals, the
lecture will include the technique of
fresco painting, the truth in the
Radio City controversy, and Rivera's
materialistic conception of American
history as portrayed in his latest
murals at the New Workers School
in New York.
Among the slides is one taken froih
what is said to be 'the only photo-
graph taken of the disputed mural
section.
Mr. Dimitroff was born near Tir-
novo, Bulgaria, and is an American
citizen. He has studied at the Flint
Art Institute. He afterwards be-
came connected with the Chicago
Art Institute, following which he has
been associated with Mr. Rivera for
a year, the last four months as his
chief assistant.
He worked with Mr. Rivera on the
murals of the Detroit Institute of
Art, through the Radio City contro-
versy and the murals in the New
Workers School.
Miss Bloch, daughter of the com-
poser Ernest Bloch, was born in Ge-
neva, Switzerland. She studied paint-
ing and sculpture for six years in
Europe. She has been one of Ri-
vera's assistants for the last two
years. At present she designs glass
sculpture for a Holland factory.
In an advance notice Miss Bloch
points out that the lecture will not
be of interest only to students in-
terested in contemporary history but
also to students of architecture and
mural painting.
Tickets for the lecture will be sold
at a nominal price, sufficient to pay
expenses, it was said.
