Coming from behind in the third
quarter, the Minnesota Gophers yes-
terday managed to . push over a
touchdown to beat Wisconsin, 6 to 3.
The annual grid battle was fought
out in a driving snow storm at Min-
neapolis.
ARMY 12 NAVY '7
A powerful Army eleven won its
fifth straight victory over Navy yes-
terday and its ninth straight of the
season when it came from behind in
the second quarter to beat the Mid-
shipmen, 12 to 7. Johnson, the Ca-
det quarterback, ran the opening
kick-off of the game 81 yards for a
touchdown.

The Old Oaken Bucket remained
another year with the Purdue Boiler-
makers as they hammered out a
smashing victory yesterday over the
Indiana Hoosiers, 19 to 3 at.Bloom-

end zone. The ball was called back
and Northwestern penalized five
yards for roughing the kicker. This
gave Michigan first down on the
Northwestern 45-yard line.
Sutton gained two yards. August-
son then punted the ball out of
bounds on Michigan's 48-yard line.
Renner replaced Heston. Everhard-
us was tossed for a two-yard loss, but
Northwestern was

Petoskey kicked off to Cruice, who
returned 12 yards to Northwestern's
36-yard line. Augustson tried the
center of the line, gaining two yards.
Cruice faded back and left-handed

Maroney cracked right tackle for
four yards. On a buck straight
through center Sutton advanced
three yards. Sutton fumbled and
Everhardus recovered for Michigan
