NOTICES
Action of the University Discipline Committee: At a meeting of the
University Discipline Committee held on May 31, 1933, the following action
was taken:
Robert G. Petrie and Irving Klein, Lit. '33, having been found guilty
of public intoxication at the time of the Swingout ceremonies on May 16th
were suspended from the University from June 1, 1933 until October 1, 1933.
Elbert W. King, Lit. '33, having been found guilty of public intoxica-
tion at the time of Swingout, after having been warned on the occasion of
previous misconduct, was suspended from the University from June 1, 1933,1
until January 1, 1934.1
Allyn E. Weber, '36 Lit., having ignored summons to appear at the
office of the Dean of Students, and summons to appear before the Univer-
sity Discipline Committee, was suspended from the University for an in-
definite period subject to re-admission upon application to and approval by'
the Dean of the Literary College and the Dean of Students.
Summer Session Hours of Registration: For the College of Literature,
Science, and the Arts, in the Registrar's Office, Room 4, University Hall,
June 22, 23, 24, and 26, 9 to 12 a. m., and 1:30 to 4 p. in. Thereafter, 10 to
12 a. m. daily.
For the College of Engineering, in West Engineering building, June 22,
23, 24, and 26, 8 to 12 a. m., and 1:30 to 4 p. m.
For the Medical School, in the West Medical building, June 23, 24, and
26, 10 to 12 a. in., and 2 to 4 p. m.

Office, Room 4, University Hall. Special students not admitted to the Uni-

101, June 22, 23, 24, and 26, 9 to 12 a. m., and 1:30 to 4 p. in.
Graduate School, in Angell Hall, June 21, 22, 23, 24, and 26, 9 to 12
a. m., and 2 to 4 p. m.
Members of the Summer Session Faculties: Blanks for the Faculty
Directory and request cards for the Summer Michigan Daily will be sent
by campus mail next week to all members of the Summer Session staff.
Their prompt return will be greatly appreciated. The Summer Daily will
be delivered gratis only to those members of the Summer Session faculty
who will fill out the request cards.
Faculty meeting, College of L., S., & A.: The regular June meeting of
the Faculty of the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts will be held
in Room 2225 A.H., Monday afternoon, June 5, beginning at 4:10.
In addition to miscellaneous business and the usual reports of the Dean
on the actions of the University Council and the meeting of the Deans with
the President, two other items are scheduled. First, the special order pre-
sented by Professor Karpinski, and second, the election of five members to
the University Council. John R. Effinger, Dean
School of Education Faculty: The last regular Faculty meeting of the
School of Education will be held at the Michigan League at 12 o'clock
sharp on Monday, June 5. C. O. Davis, Secretary
Faculty, College of Literature, Science, and the Arts: It is requested
by the Administrative Board that all instructors who make reports of In-
complete or Absent from Examination give also information showing the
character of that part of the work which has been completed. This may
be done by the use of the symbols, I (A), X(B), etc.
Library Books: Attention is. called to Rule III of the Regents' regula-
tions governing the loan of books from the Library: "All books borrowed by
members of the Faculty shall be returned . . . on or before the Thursday
preceding the annual Commencement in June.
It will greatly facilitate the handling of outstanding charges if mem-
bers of the Faculty having books in their possession will return them or
make the necessary adjustments during the weeks preceding the date set
by the Regents' rules. Wm. W. Bishop, Librarian
University Scholarships in the Graduate School: The Board of Regents
of the University of Michigan have established certain University of Mich-
igan Scholarships to be known as - -

Automobile Regulation: Graduate
students who are worxing upon their
Doctor's degrees will be relieved
from further observance of the Au-
tomobile Regulation on 12:00 noon,
Saturday, June 3; those Graduate
students who are completing require-
ments for their Masters' degrees will
not be excused from the observance
of the ruling until 12:00 noon, Wed-
nesday, June 14.

Biological Station: Space remains
for a few qualified men and women
students. Courses give full credit to-
ward degrees. For full information,

the Judiciary Council ceases to func-
tion with the beginning of examina-
tions, any infraction of the house
rules is to be referred to the Office
of the Dean of Women.
