Union. Two papers will be presented by students in addition to three
reels of motion pictures showing "Electric Are Welding Processes" and
the "Manufacture and Uses of Asbestos" All interested are invited.

Graduate Students-Men and Women: The attention of graduate
students, is called to the fact that special tables are being reserved for
them every noon at the far end of the League cafeteria.
Preliminary Examinations in Chemistry: Preliminary examinations
for those working toward the doctor's degree in chemistry will'be held
in Room 151 Chemistry building at the following periods:
Analytical Chemistry-January 22, 1 p. m.
Organic Chemistry-January 29,.1 p. m.
Physical Chemistry-February 5, 1 p. m.'
Any students planning to take these examinations, or any one of
them, should present his request to Professor F. E. Bartell, Room 160
Chemistry building, not later than Monday, January 11.
To All Men Students: Students intending to change their rooms at
the end of the present semester are hereby reminded that according to
the University Agreements they are to inform the householders of such
intention at least two weeks prior to the close of the semester, that is
by January 29. It is advised that notice of such jntention to move be
made at once.
Students are also reminded of the Regents' ruling that no unmar-
ried male student may live in an apartment unless he has obtained,
special permission to do so from the Office of the Dean of Students. -

able for the second semester are requested to list them in the Office of
