Since the meeting of the two bands this afternoon will be' the first in a number of years, a rivalry almost as great as that be- tween tle football teams is sched- uled to be renewed. Both bands are nearly the same size, each comprising about 100 pieces. The Maroon and Gold out- fit paa drilled daily for the past six weeks on its formations and is said to have improved over previous years with the addition of a new director. Immediately upon its arrival in Ann Arbor on the special train from Minneapolis on which will also be 2,000 Gopher students and supporters, the Maroon and Gold outfit will parade from the Michi- gan Central station up State street to Morris Hall. During the day, the Michigan band will be hosts to the visitors.
