of the University of Illinois are
participating in obtaining dona-
tions to the Champaign-Urbana
community chest and emergency
fund campaign, and T. W. Swain,
law 2, has been appointed student
manager.
Members of the student council
and leaders in campus activities
gave their co-operation in raising
the $3,500 quota from among the
10,000 students attending school. It
is felt that such a small quota will
be easily obtained.

Vistors Night, Angell lHall: The ?
public is invited to visit the Astro-
nomical Laboratory on the fifth
floor of Angell Hall to observe the
moon from 8 to 10 on Friday eve-
ning of this week and from 7 to 10
on Saturday evening. Children must
be accompanied by adults.
Geology I and 31: Make-up blue-
book will be given Friday, Nov. 20,
at 4 o'clock in Room 3056 N. S.
Physiological Chemistry 121: The
second laboratory section will hold
its first meeting on Friday, Nov. 20,
at 1 p. in., in Room 319 West Medi-
cal building. All students should
provide themselves with a Physio-
logical Chemistry cash ticket (five
dollars), which may be secured at
the Treasurer's Office. No desks will
be assigned without the presenta-
tion of the cash ticket.
Graduate Women: The Dean of

Alexanderson and L. A. Hawkins,
of the General Electric research
laboratories, Schectady, N. Y. These
speakers are being presented by the
University Press Club of Michigan.

J-Hop Committee: Meeting Sun-
day, Nov. 22, at 5 p. in., Room 302,

Cosmopolitan Club will meet on
Saturday, Nov. 21, at 8 p. in., in
Lane Hall. Prof. Remer, of the
Economics Department, will speak,
and members of the Chinese Stu-
dents' Club will present a one-act
play. Non-members will be charged
a nominal fee.
Lenin-Tolstoy-Gandhi: Dr. Fred.
B. Fisher will lecture on Tuesday
afternoon, Nov. 24, at 4:15, in the
Natural Science auditorium, on
"Lenin-Tolstoy-Gandhi." The pub-
lic is invited.
