Tennis activities are well under way with the quarterfinals of the' fall tournament. The tournament ir the classes is almost com~plete and the eight win- ners will enter the quarterfinals with those from outside the classes. The 16 winners will be notified whom they are to play. "We ask that the women play off their sets as soon as possible," stated Miss Marie Zettler, instrue- tor in the physical education de- partment, "since theaweather con- ditions are such that women will' not have much more time to play off their matches." This is thehfirst year that there has been a complete tournament in -he fall. Jean Porter, '34, and Miss Zettler are in charge of the plans. The entrants will meet SAt 3:45 o'clock'at Barbour gym- lasium. Dues for 1932 Junior Girls' Play to Be Collected Monday by Committee. All junior women whether they are eligible or ineligible will be called on to pay their dollar dues for the 1932 Junior Girls' Play starting Monday. The finance committee under Barbara Braun will approach every woman individually. Unless the one dollar fee' is paid no wo- man will be able to tryout for the play, be on a committee, or parti- cipate in any way in the play's ac- tivities. All second semester sophomores who are planning to tryout for the play should arange with Miss Braun to pay the fee. p"We are asking both eligible and ineligible women to pay because we need as much backing as we can get," stated Miss Braun.
