Kappa Kappa Gamma with usual 3 good playing took a comparatively' easy victory from Sigma Kappa yesterday afternoon by a score of 23 to 10. The Sigma Kappas put]I up a good firghit but were no match for the speed and strength of the Kappas. The forwards on the Kap- pa Kappa Gamma team were ex- cellent shots making a basket near- I ly every time the ball was given to them. Pauline Brooks, '34, and An- ) nette Cummings, '33, played in the forward positions. There was considerable fouling on both teams. It was a fast game but there was no wild playing, the Kappas being able to combine speed and deliberate placing of shots. The lineup for the Kappa Team was ) Katherine B r o o k, '31, Pauline Brooks, '34, Annette Cummings, '33, Mary Ayres, '31 Katherine Badger, '31, and Grace Mayer, '34. The line- up for the Sigma Kappa team was Margaret Stahl, '31, Hazel Saul, '33, Helen Moore, '31, Emily Seymour, Dorothy Shopland, and Ann Rob- inson. Jordan 1 defeated League 2 in a fast, well contested game by the score of 25 to 11. There was excel- lent teamwork shown among the forwards on the Jordan team but the passing was wild at times. A number of fouls were called on the Jordan team but the League team was not able to take advantage of the fact, missing a number of tries for baskets. The players on Leaguo 2 were Lorraine Larson, '32, Helen Kempski, '32, Helen Townsend, '32, Dora Bedford, '33, Jean Milne, '32, and Leah Reisbig, '32. The Jordan 1 team was composed of Helen Brenner, '33, Charlotte Johnson, '34, Esther La Rowe, '32, Alta Place, '34, and Dorothy Davidson, '33.
