MRS. RUTHVEN TO POUR Bridge prizes and a door prize will be awarded at the League tea which will, be held from 4 to 6 o'clock this afternoon in the ball- room of the League building. This is a new departure conceived by the hostess commitee, as bridge has not been featured at the teas here- tofore. The committee in charge of the tea has been chosen from the seven League houses who will be host- esses this afternoon; they are Adams, Coon, Augspurger, Cozad, Jennings, Stapleton, and Saddler houses. Navie Bohanna, '33, is gen- eral chairman and is in charge of entertainment; Elizabeth Holm- berg, '32, publicity chairman; Helen Black, '33, invitations; Miriam Gor- don, '34, refreshments; and Eleanor Rairdon, '33, hostess badges. Each guest will receive a num- bered tag at the, door, the holder of the lucky number will win the door prize offered by Jacobson's apparel shop. The Cardinal ready to wear shop will present the bridge prize. Entertainment will consist of several feature presentations taken from the recent Sophomore Cab- aret. The teas are especially given for League members, but faculty wo- men are cordially invited and the social committee this year has adopted this policy as a means of orientation among the students, and faculty. Women do not need costumes for tryouts unless they wish to try for a man's part. A short song and a few routine steps are all that are necessary, and only those women who are trying for character parts should speak.
