Although the Varsity wrestlers will swing into action against Ypsi- lanti State Normal College next, Tuesday, Dec. 9, the big thing oa- cupying the mind of coach Cliff Keen is the All-University meet' which will be held Dec. 16, 17, and 18. This meet is expected to draw over 100 entries from all schools on the campus including the 64 mem- bers of the Varsity squad. The on- ly members of the Varsity who will not compete are the letter winners from last year, of which there are only five. Silver loving cubs will be presented to the winners in all( weight divisions,. Coach Keen is rapidly rounding' his squad into shape, and with the addition of seven men from the football squad including A u e r, Benz, and LaJeunesse feels that he has a very good nucleus on which to build. Captain Auer has been mention- ed as one of the possible partici-, pants in a charity football game at Flint next Sunday which would render him ineligible for further conference competition this season due to a conference rule forbidding post-season games. This would be a severe loss to Keen, so it is doubt- ful if Auer would sacrifice the cap- taincy for the sake of the game. -.... t 14. 1-HE M1U"lUAlN tr t x VASITYMATMAN CAGE SQUAD CUT Varsity Track Squad L A S S I F 1 E TO EIGHTEEN MEN Nears Indoor Season AYERTiSING lintrarnura l ewe (Continued From Page 6) (Continued From Page 6) accurate passing, well trained eye cause of the necessity of working NOTICE -_for the basket, and stellar defense I indoors only the shot putters are HOCKEY. will be unusually stiff, Mr. Riskey play have practically assured him able to do any great amount of Special Complete Di eir, of the Intramural department pre- a place on the frt quintet.
