(By Associated Press) LONDON, Nov. 5.-Noise has been eliminated in a "silent house" constructed for a building exposi- tion. In the construction the mater- ials used had to fulfill two pur- poses; to resist external sounds and to absorb internal noises. Plywood, millboard, perforated zinc fiber-board, hollow bricks and pumice are among the materials used. The floors, as well as the ceilings and the walls, have been built to insulate the rooms, against sound.
