Ann Arbor's church services to- day in the morning and evening will be particularly concerned with concluding the services of the Re- ligious Emphasis week which has been in progress since last Sunday. Smith, mod- erator of the National Council of Congregational churches, who will speak on "The Fruits of Religion," at the morning services at the Con- gregational church, and on "Moral Robbery" at the discussion meet- ings following the regular student supper. Smith Noted For Work. " Doctor S m ith is well-known throughout the entire country for his work in connection with evan-. gelism and law enforcement. He has served as chairman of the exe- cutive committee of the World Al- liance for International Friendship among churches and as chairman of the Citizens' Committee of One Thousand for Law, Enforcement. At the Presbyterian church, J. Stitt Wilson will 'speak in the morning on "Christ's Message and Social Conscience," and in the eve- ning on "Creating Spiritual Lead- ership for Our Times." Wilson is especially known as a former lead- er of the Labor party in England and was also at one time the mayor of Berkley, Cal. The Presbyterian student group will also hold a joint meeting with the Methodist group 5:30 o'clock today, when Dr. Fred- erick . Fisher, of the First Metho- dist Episcopal church, will speak on "The Meaning of Religious Exper- ience.", Fisher Will Lecture. Fisher will speak on "Humanism" at the morning service in the Meth- odist church. After interviews with President von Hindenburg and Dr. Strese- man, and with many other of the German national leaders, Dr. Harry N. Holmes of New ork, field sec- retary of the world alliance for in- ternational friendship, will speak on "The Striking Personalities of Modern Germany," at the Metho- dist church tonight. At the Lutheran church, Dr. N. J. Gould 'ickey, executive secretary of the Lutheran board of education, will talk on "Christianity and Wor- ship," at the morning sevice, and on "Christianity and Culture," at the evening meeting. Dr. "Curtis W. Reese, dean of Ab- rahamn Lincoln Center of Chicago, will discuss "Changing Goals in Re- ligion" at the morning service in the Unitarian church and the Rev. William F. Rob ison, of Loyola uni- versity of Chicago, will conduct student masses at St. Mary's chapel at 8 and 10:30 o'clock today. At the Episcopal church, Bishop William P. Remington, bishop of eastern Oregon, will speak at both the morning and evening services. . Heller, Franklin to Speak.
