University Burcau of Appohitments and Occupational Information:
Seniors or graduates interested in aviation training with the United
States Marine Corps will pleaso call at the office, 201 Mason hall, be-
tween 9:00 and 12:00 today.
University Lecture: Dr. William Braid White, director of acoustic
research of the American steel and wire company, Chicago, Illinois, will
lecture on the subject "Is Noise Sarambled Music?" at 4:15 p. m., Mon-
day, March 2, in the Natural S::ie ce auditorium. The lecture will
be illustrated by projections from the Osiso, by means of which sounds
are picked up and appear upon a screen as moving lines of light. The
public is cordially invited.
University Lecture: Dr. Ralph V. Gerard, of the University of
Chicago, will lecture on the subject "The Activity of Nerve and Brain,"
at 4:15 p. m., Thursday, March 5, in the Natural Science auditorium.
The public is cordially invited.
Faculty Concert: Maud Okk lberg, assistant professor in piano in
the School of Music, will give the following program in Lydia Mendels-I
sohn theatre in the- League bu ilding Sunday, March 1, at 4:15 o'clock.
The general public with the exception of small children is invited with-
out admission charge but is respectfully requested to be seated on time
as the doors will be closed during numbers:
Bach-Liszt: Prelude and Fugue, A Minor; Mozart: Rondo; Schu-
mann: In the Night; Brahms: Variations and Fugue on a Theme of
Handel; Liadow: Barcarolle; A. Tcherepnine: Chanson Tcheque; Ravel:
La Vallee des Cloches; Ravel: Jeux d'Eau.
Graduate School: Graduate students who have not handed in
second semester election cards should do so this week.
Students who have changed their elections since submitting election
cards should call' this week at the office of the Graduate school, 1014y
Angell hall. This involves the dropping and adding of courses, the
substitution of one course for another, as well as the change of in-
structors. G. Carl Huber, dean.
University Bureau of Appointments and Occupational Information:
The bureau has had several calls for Negro teachers with work beyondj
the Master's degree. Any candidates for teaching positions in colored
institutions should register with the bureau at once.
Law School Apounces, 1930-1931: The Editorial division announces
the issue of this bulletin as No. 36 of Volume XXXII of the University
of Michigan Official publication.
Notice: Because of preparation for the Western Conference swim-
ming meet which is to be held in the Intramural Sports building the
pool will not be available Saturday, February 28, Sunday, March 1, and
possibly Monday, March 2.
Zoology I Lecture: The seating list for Zoology I lecture has been
posted in the corridor case near room 2091, Natural Science building.
All students should consult this list before the next lecture.
Physiological Chemistry 102: Refunds for the laboratory course for
the second section may be obtained daily from 3:30-5:00, in room 218
West Medical building, and on Saturday mornings from 10:00-12:00.
Attention is called to the fact that the refund slips must be presented
to the Treasurer's office within six months of the date.

Municipal Administration Club: Mr. Carl S. Chatters, will be unable
to lecture today.
Faculty rifle shoot tonight at 7:30. All faculty members are cor-

'Varsity R. 0. T. C. Band: Both the A and B sections of the band
are to play for the hockey game tonight. There will be no excuse for
not being at the Coliseum at 8:15.
League of Nations Model Assembly: All interested in attending this
