EVENTS TODAY RELIGIOUS EMPHASIS WEEK-TODAY'S PROGRAMS All students are invited to attend any of these meetings and serv- ices. Rev. William F. Robison, S. J. of Loyola University, Chicago, will conduct a mission for students at St. Mary's Student Chapel (Williams at Thompson) Masses at 7:00 a. in. and 8:00 a. m. and Rosary at 7:30 p. i. daily. Dr. James M. Yard, Dean of Students at Northwestern University will lead a discussion at Wesley hall (State near Huron) at 4:15. The topic will be that of yesterday's lecture, "The Churches place in Social Legislation." Dr. Curtis W. Reece, of Chicago, Dean of Abraham Lincoln Centre will speak to a group for graduate students on "Humanism and the Pro- fessions," at 7:30 p. in., at the Unitarian Church Library (State and Huron). Bishop William P. Remington, of Eastern Oregon will be the cele- brant of Holy Communion Service in the Chapel at Harris hall (State and Huron) at 7:30 a. in., followed by breakfast. Informal discussion at 4:00 p. in., at Harris hall. He will be the speaker at a special student conducted service in St. Andrews Church (Division and Catherine), at 7:30 p. m. Dr. Allyn K. Foster, Secretary of the Baptist Board of Education will lead a discussion at the Baptist Guild House (Huron near State), at 4:15 p. m. Mechanical and Chemical Engineering Seniors: Mr. M. M. Anderson of the Aluminum Company of America will be in room 221 West Engi- neering building from two to five, for the purpose of interviewing men interested in positions with this company. 'Varsity R. O. T. C. Band: The reserve band will rehearse tonight at Morris hall, at 7:15. Nicholas Falcone. Alpha Nu: Alpha Nu of Kappa Phi Sigma will hold a smoker at 7:30 this evening in room 4003 Angell hall. Professor Pollock of the Political Science department will addrcss the group. Women Athletic Ma agers: There will be a meeting of intramural athletic managers at 4 p. 1n., in Barbor gymnasium in order to plan for the swimming tournament.
