The Michigan Congress of Par-
ents and Teachers, the Extension
division, and the School of Educa-
tion are sponsoring a Parent Edu-
cation institute which is to be held
here April 29 and 30.
Some of the subjects to be dis-
cussed are sane organization of thef
Parent - Teacher association, the
emotions, some effects of over-f
stimulation, home and school rela-
tionship, the nursery school, andQ
the behavior of young children-.
The institute will close with a
luncheon at 12:15 o'clock April 30. Julius G. Lay,

Twelve Enter Contest
for Booth Fellowship
Competition for the George G.
Booth traveling fellowship is now
going on with 12 students in the
architectural school and graduates
living in Paris, France; New York,
Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and

head of the school, announced yes-
terday.
Two weeks are given the com-
petitors to work out the problems
which is the same for all. The
problem this year is "A Patriotic
Memorial Building" which should
provide office space for the Red
Cross, American Legion and other
patriotic organizations.
