Frederick Y. Wiselogle, '32, has been awarded the $50 scholarship in chemistry and chemical engi- neering of Phi Lambda Upsilon, honorary chemical fraternity. Wise- logle has had a consistently high record in the University, and was an all-A student last semester. This is the last year in which the award will take the form of a scholarship. In the future three student memberships in the Amer- ican Chemical society will be given. Sixteen seniors and graduates were initiated into the society this semester. They are Norman A. Baker, '31E, Herman C. Fogg, M. S., William G. Frederick, B. S., Chester M. Gooding, A. B., George B. Hatch, A. M., Donald L. Katz, 'SIE, Alvin H. Knoll, A. B., Erwin F. Linhorst, B. S., A.
