Publication in the Bulletin is constructive notice to all members of
the University. Copy received at the office of the Assistant to the
President until 3:30, excepting Sundays. 11:30 a. m. Saturday.

NOTICES
Users of the Daily Official Bulletin: The Michigan Daily, including
a Daily Official Bulletin, will be published on Tuesday, February 24. As
the University offices will be closed on February 23, a holiday, copy for
the Daily Official Bulletin of February 24 must be received at the Presi-
dent's office before 11:30 on February 21.
To Department Hleads' and Others Concerned: The hourly time slips
must be in the Business Office not later than 5 p. in., of February 20,
to be included in the February 23 payroll. The short month and inter-
vening holiday account for the early date.

University Bureau of Appointments and Occupational Information:
Members of the Senior Cass who are interested in taking graduate
work in The New York SChool of Social Work, next year, should call
at the Office of the Bureau, 201 Mason hall for further information.
Two Fellowships of $600.00 cach are offered for next year.
All students registered for a teaching position with the Bureau of
Appointments, and who have not been called in for a personal inter-
view, should check up on hi:; record at the office of the Bureau. Second
Semester schedules should also be handed in. Special blanks for this
information may be aecurcd at 201 Mason hall.
School of Education-Changes of Sections: Changes of sections or
of instructors should be reported at the office of the School of Educa-
tion, room 1437 University Elementary School, as soon as they have
been made.
School of Education-Changes of Elections: Changes of elections
may be made Thursday and Friday, February 19 and 20. Changes must
be made in the office of the Recorder of the School of Education, room
1437 University Elementary School.
Membership in a class does not cease nor does membership in a
class begin until all changes have been officially registered in the office
of the Recorder of the School of Education. Arrangements made with
the instructors only are not official changes.
After February 20 changes should still be made in room 1437 Uni-
versity Elementary School, but only after payment of a fee of one dollar.
Univrsity Women: All women who have new addresses for second
semester are asked to report this change in the office of the Dean of
Women at once.
Education D101: As previously announced in the Daily Bulletin, this
course will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 in room 4009, Uni-
versity High School. Francis D. Curtis.
Sociology 132 (Section 2): This section will meet Tuesdays and
Thursdays at 10 in room 2014 Angell hall.
Mathematics 110. Elementary Course in Complex Variables: The
time of the m'eeting of this class has been changed to 8 o'clock on Mon-
days, Wednesdays and Fridays, 306 M. H.
Philosophy 153 is changed to 10 o'clock on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays, room. 3212 A. H.
Speech: Dr. Eich's section in Speech 43 will meet on Monday, Wed-
nesday, and Friday at 8:00 in 4006 A. H.

Robert Hegner, of Johns Hopkins University: "The Invisible Fauna of
the Human Body" (illustrated with slides).
Zoology Lecture: Dr. Robert Hegner, of Johns Hopkins University,
will give the following lecture under the auspices of the Department of
Zoology at 7:30 p. m.--"Host-Parasite Relations among Protozoa." Room
2116, Natural Science.
Professor Boris A. Bakhmeteff will present his main lecture in two
parts on the subject: "ADVANCED HYDRAULICS OF OPEN CHANNELS
-PRINCIPAL PROBLEMS AND MEANS OF SOLUTION" I. Today at
4 p. m., room 348 West Engineering building and II. Friday, February
20, 1931, at 4 p. m., room 348 West Engineering building. Professor
Bakhmeteff will also speak at the Applied Mechanics Colloquium on
"HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING IN RUSSIA" today at 8 p. m., in room
445 West Engineering building. You are cordially invited to attend each
of these lectures.
Political Science Journal Club meets today in 2035 A. H., 3:00-
5:00 p. m.
Seniors and Graduate Students in Chemical Engineering: Dr. H1. M.
Weir and Mr..Walter B. Murphy of the Atlantic Refining Company of
Philadelphia will be in Prof. A. H. White's office today to interview
seniors and graduate students interested in their field. Please make
appointments with Miss McKim who has a circular giving more infor-
mation concerning the positions which are open.
Physics 202-Pro-Seminar: A meeting will be held at 4 o'clock in
room 1041, East Physics building, to arrange a suitable hour for the class
to meet.
English 122: Professor Thorpe will not be able to meet his class
in Keats today.
English 218 will meet for the first time today from 4 to 6 in room
3231 A. H.
Cercle Francais meets in the Cercle meeting room in the Romance
Language building. Prof. Jean Ehrhard will speak. Refreshments.
Studio Art Club: The studio class in life drawing will be resumed
this evening. The class will meet in the fourth floor studios of the
Architecture building at 9 p. in., with Professor Valerio as critic. All
interested are welcome; previous attendance is not required.
Pi Lambda Theta business meeting at 4:15, in the Michigan League.
Oratorical Association Ushers: Report at Hill auditorium before
7:30 p. m., for lecture tonight.
Mimes: Important business meeting at 5:00 in room 306 of the
Union. Everyone must be present.
Notice: There will be a meeting of those who are to be on the Host-
ess or Usher Committee of the Junior Girls' Play at 3:30 p. m., in the
Michigan League.
Executive Board of the W. A. A., meets at 5:45, in the Women's
Field House.
Young Women Foreign Students who were in Methodist Mission
Schools in their own country and also the daughters of Methodist min-
isters are invited to a tea from 3:30 to 4:30 in the Kalamazoo room of
the Michigan League to meet Mrs. Evelyn Riley Nicholson, wife of

B. A. Bakhmetefl's lecture on hy-
draulics, the seminar wil not meet
Thursday, Feb. 19. The seminar will

Mr. W. Freyberg will present a
paper on "European Methods of
