Oratorical Associatfon Patrons: Patrons will be admitted without charge to Dr. Daniel Davenport's lecture, "Jungle Hazards," on presenta- tion of Von Luckner coupons. This coupon shall be retained by patrons for the Von Luckner lecture to be announced later. II. Moser, business manager. Students-College of Literature, Science, and the Arts: No course may be elected for credit after the end of the third week. Saturday, March 7, 1931, is therefore the last date on which new elections may be a proved. The willingncss of an individual instructor to admit a stud-nt later would not affect the operation of this rule. Students, School of Edutation: All students enrolled in this school who did not fill in on their election cards the names of all instructors are asked to do so immediately. This may be done in the Recorder's Office, room 1437, Elementary School.° School of Education, Changes of Elections: No courses may be added ,after Saturday, March 7. Any change of elections of students enrolled in this school must be reported at the Recorder's Office, 1437, Elementary 8.hool. This includes any change of sections or instructors. Seniors, School of Education; Men Students: Measurements for caps and gowns are being taken at Moe's Sport Shop, North University Ave- nue. A treasurer's receipt for class dues is necessary before the cap and gown may be secured. Dues are $2.50 and are payable to J. W. Smith, 516 S. Division Street. Be sure to give your return address. Please give Mr. Moe your measurements as soon as possible as it re- quires some time to order the garments. Women Students: Call at the Michigan League building for infor- mation concerning your caps and gowns. Notice to All Faculty Members and Officers: Arrangements have been made with the purpose of having in the General Library both for pres- ent purposes and for future historical value, a file of the portraits of members of the Faculty and University officials. It is highly desirable from the Library's point of view that this file be of portraits in uniformt size. Portraits" will be made without cost to any Faculty member or officer by Messrs. J. F. Rentschler and Son. Members of the Faculty are cordially invited to make appointments with Rentschler and Son for the purpose. Hekking, Director of the Albright Art Gallery in Buffalo, will lecture on "Modern Art Forms and their Relation to the Great Art Movements of Other Periods" (illustrated), at 4:15 p. in., in the Natural Science auditorium. New York Times Current Events Contest: This contest, which is open to all undergraduates, will be held today at 2:00 p. in., in 2219 Angell hall. Three cash prizes of $150, $75, and $25, respectively, will be awarded to the winners. The $75 prize is open to sophomores and freshmen only. The best paper will be submitted in competition for (the intercollegiate prize of $500, awarded in addition to the local prize. All paper required for the contest will be supplied by the committee in charge.
