The Cooper Power Mower Has Many
Out standing Features of Construiction and
Operation
The Cooper Mower is designed so that the power is transiied
to the traction roller aind cutting reel through independc ut clutches. Th'le
reel can be idle while transporting, or the traction roller may be idle while
cutting reel is under, power when working in close quarters.
The Cooper Multiple Speed Reel Drive is a distinctive Cooper fea-
ture-the outstanding developmenit in power 'lawn mowers. . It permits the
speed of the reel to be set (in relation to ground travel) to meet, the differ-
ent cutting conditions, producing results that are impossible with a single
speed reel. The drive is so designed that it May be reversed to sharpen
The entire power transmission to both reel and roller is equipped with anti.
friction ball and roller bearings, packed in grease and sealed dust tight. Lubrication
problems are eliminated. The 'framte'of the mower is made entirely of steel,, is light in
weight, yet will withstand the shocks to which a power mower is subjected.
The Cooper Mower is equipped with the ,nmost popular small engine mado in
America. A four cycle gasoline motor, air cooled,. with mechanically operated overhiead
valves, built in fly-wheel magneto, combination pump, and splash lubrication syst-m.
