The number examined,; according to Dr. William Forsythe, chief resident physician 'at "the Health Service, exceeds that in any previous year of the University. Due to the confusion caused by the unusually large number of transfers demanding examinations, Dr. Forsythe plans to have all the transfers for 1930 examined as a single block immediately follow- ing Freshman Week. Students will find 'several chang- es in staff at the Health Service. Dr. Clyde Reynolds, long identifiedj with the department, has~ left theI University to organize a health service at Oregon State College. With him have gone Dr. Edith Sap- pington and Erma Plagman, nurse,' also of the Health Service. Dr. Reynolds' place is now taken' by Dr. Fopeano, a former graduate of the University Medical School. Dr. Fopeano's official' capacity' will be Medical Adviser for the class of '33.
