tion of over 3,400 newly enrolled
students. The number examined,
according to Dr. William Forsythe,
chief resident physician at the
Health Service, exceeds that in anyE
previous year of the University.

the unusually large number ofr
transfers demanding examinations.
Dr. Forsythe plans to have all the

single block immediately follow-
ing Freshman Week.

A practical course in the fundamentals of Life Insurance Selling will
be open to a limited number of men and women interested in this work.
It will be given without cost or obligation throughout the college year and
will require a total of about three hours per week. The course will be
practical in that it will permit the participants to earn while learning. The
purpose of the course is to provide training for those who want to take
up this work upon graduation. For those who qualify we will have attrac-
rive and remunative openings in June. We are interested in interviewing
only those who will be graduated this year.
