'This is extremely unjust and unfair to those against whom these accusations have been made, as such state- menti are absolutely false: This office does uot now and never has employed spies of a-ny kind, students or others. These rumors are probably the result of an editorial run in the Michigan Daily several weeks ago. The writer of thisn editorial has admitted that his editorial was based upon hearsay only, and that he made no effort to learn the actual facts or to verify the truth of his statements before publishing them.
