Nine Michigan Varsity coaches
will sit in on the meeting of the
Conference authorities scheduled to
take place in Chicago this Friday
and Saturday at which the future
relations of tle University of Iowa
to the Bib Ten will be decided. With
the Iowa situation occupying the
crux of the whole meeting no defi-
nite plane of further preceedure
has been laid as yet.
Should the powers of the Western
Conference render an adverse de- J
cision on the Hawkeye's plea for'
reinstatement, the necessity will
arise for changing every schedule
in any sport at any school where
Iowa was slated to appear. The ar-
rangement of schedules will in all
probability take up most of the re-
maning time of the meeting if the
Iowa petition fails to go through.-
Michigan Is Affected.
In this shifting of playing datesI
Michigan will be affected in every
winter and spring sport with the
exception of wrestling since the
Hawks are in the other division of
the Conference in the mat sport. To
help in this juggling of dates the
University is sending all of the
coaches of winter sports including
Cliff Keen, wrestling; George Veen-
ker, basketball; Matt Mann, swim-
ming; Steve Farrell and Charles
Hoyt, track; with Ray Fisher of the
Baseball team and Harry Kipke
completing the likt of mentors.

Director Fielding H. Yost and
Franklin Cappon will attend, while0
Harry Tillotson, University Ticket
Manager is being sent to the meet-
ing also.

that Iowa will be allowed to remain
