The exhibit,, although primarily in the interest of the public at large, is being used by students in sociology as a basis for thesis work. The display covers two cases in the exhibit hall on the fourth floor of the building, Washtenaw wing. Included in the new layout are pipes, cradles, buffalo-hide blank- ets, Indian attire, war implements, packing cases, and several special articles such as a tamburine, and a javelin target. The javelin target is of special interest, being one of the few actual reminders of early athletic contests in existence.
