THE MICHIGAN DAILY ,e af% a IP'S ___ _ -- --- __- r ALL-CAMPUS IUHNLYf NOT HALTED BY RAIN Despite rather unfavorable weather conditions during the past few days the all-compus tennis tournament is progressing accord- ing to schedule and all of the 64 matches in the first and second rounds in the singles have been played off, as well as some of the first round doubles which are not dut to be completed until Monday. The large number of entries in the singles tournament, 86 in all, is ani increase of 21 over the num- ber entered in this event last year and includes all kinds of men ranging from pure dubs to ranking national players. In the list of en- trants is quite an array of men who have starred in tournaments in various sections of the country. The third and fourth round matches will be finished before Tuesday night if the weather per- mits constant play. This will bring the tournament players to the quarter-finals in which some real matches should be staged.
