PROVED ICE ARENA I BE OPENED SOONI With the new artificial ice mak:- ing plant, already installed and the work of remodeling well underway,' the revamped Coliseum will prob- ably be ready for use during the second week in November. The opening of this new plant, which will bring into existence a com- plete artificial skating rink, will also mark an important stage in the development of athletics at Michigan and will afford studens1 an opportunity to enjoy ice ska - ing from November to April each year. A test of the plant is to be made during the first week in Novemberl upon which will depend the open- ing date of the new rink and the beginning of hockey practice. A well,. which will supply the Coli- seum with water for the rink, is practically finished now. + U MUST HAVE.
