LIQUOR INVESTIGATION RECEIVES SUPPOR T OF CAMPUS PATRIARCHS As the result of a meeting of the presidents of the more important campus organizations and the captains of the athletic teams, in Presidents Little's home, a ques- tionnaire was distributed by the Student Christain Association on the President's suggestion for curbing the alleged flow of liquor on the campus. The results showed that 36 favored the President's plan, and only 19 opposed it. Al-I though the number reached was small, the results were representa- tive, since most of the prominent leaders of student activities weret reached. The question read as follows: Do you favor President Little's plan of having federal agents con- duct an investigation into the liquor situation on the Michigan campus for a "period sufficient to establish the correctness or incor- rectness" of "rumors of drinking and uncontrolled behavior at fra- ternityt dances and house parties?" The totals showed 24 men favoring the plan, and 16 opposing it, while 12 women voted yes on the ques- tion, only 3 being opposed. The Student Christian Associa- tion finds that the general opinion{ on the campus is in favor of theI investigation, especially in' order to find the sources of the liquor, and of stopping it, accoording to Mar-I tin Mol, '30, president.
