FRANTIC FOREST
"FANATICS FEEL

About sixty members of the stu-j
dent body and faculty of the School
of Forestry and Conservation will
gather -at Saginaw forest out Lib-1
erty. street' for the annual Forest-
er's Field Day to be held on Satur-
day, May 4.
Acording to Robert K. Winter,'
Grad., chairman of the event, the
group will assemble at the forest at,
about 8 o'clock in the morning.'
. The day will consist of a program1
in the morning and afternoon,
broken only by a forester's dinner to
be served at the school woods. The
affair is being sponsored by the
Forestry club, of p*which Willis C.j
Branch, '29F., is president.
The events of the day's program
will consist of sawing a log and
chopping a log, the chopping being
clear through the log and to a line.
Pistol shooting of both large and
small bore arms will also number
among the events.
