With four places on his team as
yet undecided, Coach Cliff Keen
of the Wolverine mat squad held
a series of elimination bouts last
night to determine who will be
taken on the trip to Lafayette
 when the team leaves at 9:09
o'clock tonight.
These bouts were of the regula-
tion ten-minute length, and the
new Conference rules governed
the wrestling. In the 115-pound
class Ruben was to meet McGil-
liard for the opportunity of mak-
ing the trip to Purdue. McGilliard
wrestled in the last meet against
Northwestern, but Ruben was
holding the position during the
earlier part of the season and has
been showing much improvement
of late.
