Crowds watched as it flew low over the Parthenon. JERUSALEM, March 28. - The Graf Zeppelin, giant dirigible, had its nose turned toward home today after cruising over Palestine and the holy land. Two days of flying over eastern , and central Europe faced it before completion of its 5,000-mile air voyage. Weather Varies Schedule The scheduled route was over the eastern Balkans and over the capitals of central Europe with landing at Friedrichshafen proba- bly sometime Thursday night. The dirigible appeared over the lPalestine coast at Haifa at 3:15 'Tuesday afternoon, and bucked headwinds down the coast to Jaffa, which was reached at 6:18. At Tel Aviv the passengers dropped con- fetti over crowds of Jews who had gathered to celebrate Purim and at Ramleh mails brought from Ger- many were dropped.
