Part Time Subjects To Be Offered
Graduates As Innovation
Next Fall
SIX HOURS IS MAXIMUM
Part time courses for persons whose
occupations are such as to afford them
only a limited part of their time for
study, will be an innovation of the
School of Education beginning with
the fall semester of this year.
Certain courses will be regularly
scheduled to meet on Friday after-
noon and Saturday morning and other
courses to meet at 4 o'clock on week
days so persons living in close prox-
imity to Ann Arbor may pursue some
of this work while they are, at the
same time, employed in professional
service.
The Friday and Saturday courses
are scheduled for a double period.
'They will meet twelve times a semes-
ter, exclusive of meetings for en-
rollment and examinations.
1n addition to regular class atten-
dance, students electing these cours-
es will be ordinarily expected to meet
with the instructor for personal con-
ferences, to do a conmiderable amount
of out-of-class work, and to prepare I
a written thesis.
Only those persons whose time for
study is limited, who are accredited
for admission to this school, and who
evidence an interest in study may be
admitted, and may elect not more than
ten hours a year or six a semester.
There are also certain residence re-
quirements: for an A.B. degree, 24
hours;. for a bachelor's degree, the
minimum requirement is determined
by the character of the work done
by the student, and likewise for a
master's degree.
BOYS' INSTITUTION
TO SOLICIT FUNDS
Soliciting aid for their institution
Saturday, May 19, boys from the Starr
Commonwealth will be in Ann Arbor
to hold a tag day. Starr Common-
wealth is located in Albion, Michigan,
and is under the supervision of Mr.
Floyd. Starr, who founded the insti-
tution fifteen years ago.
The object of the commonwealth
is to provide for unfortunate boys the
direction,-home life, and supervision
which has been denied them through
circumstances or poor environment.
The institution is not endowed and,
therefore, depends largely for its sup-
port upon the proceeds of its forty-
acre farm and the generosity and
success of the tag days it conducts.

Corbett had a big business on suits this spring. Nearly all of his spring suits
are entirely closed out at this time, therefore he was in a position to go to mar-
ket arid replenish his stock at a big saving to his customers. Corbett usually
is in a position to take advantage of manufacturers' close-outs late in the sea-
son when they prefer to dispose of their stocks at a close-out price.
Now, men, be sure and take advantage of this sale, as it comes at a time when
you will need a suit to go home.
