The Third May Festival concert will take place Friday afternoon, May 18, at 2:30 o'clock; soloists: Marie Montana, soprano, Benno Rabinof, violin; the Children's Festival Chorus will sing "The Quest of the Queer Prince" by Hyde with orchestral accompaniment; Frederick Stock and Juva Higbee, con- ductors. The Fourth May Festival concert will take place Friday evening, May 18, at 8:15 o'clock; micellaneous artist programs; Leonora Corona, soprano, soloists; the University Choral Union and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will perform Percy Grainger's "Marching Song of Democracy" with Mr. Grainger in the role of guest conductor. Frederick Stock will conduct the remaining numbers. The Fifth May Festival concert will take place Saturday afternoon, MayG 19, at 2:30 o'clock; Percy Grainger, piano soloist; Chicago Symphony Or- chestra, Frederick Stock, conductor. The Sixth and Final May Festival concert will take place Saturday eve- ning, May 19, at 8:15 o'clock, when the University Choral Union, the Varsity Glee Club, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. will perform Verdi's "Aida an opera in four acts. The following soloists will participate: Leone Kruse, soprano, (Aida), Marion Telva, contralto, (Amneris), Thelma. Lewis, so- prano (High Priestess), Paul Althouse, tenor, (Radames), Mario Basiola, baritone, (Amanasro) Chase Baromeo, bass, (Ramphis and The King), Frank Ryan, (The Messenger), Earl V. Moore, conductor. For obvious reasons the public is respectfully requested to detach from their season tickets the individual coupons for each concert, and present that only for admission. Also, for obvious reasons, the public is respect- fully requested to be seated at the beginning of the concerts, as the doors will be closed during numbers.
