CONTEST BEGINS
FOR FELLOWSHIP
Competition for the Booth Foreign.
Traveling Fellowship with an income
of $1200 has begun in the College of
Architecture. Thirteen men have en-

tered the competition, 11 of them be-
ing students now enrolled; in the Col-
lege. Dole Thompson, '27A, and Carl
Belser, '25A, are the othel two men
entered. The subject of the competi
tion is the design for a club house of
a musical association.

All dogs owned and kept in .Wash-
tenaw County must be securely chain-
ed or otherwise properly confined, un-
less such dogs have been vaccinated
against rabies within one year by a
qualified veterinarian, according to a
notice posted by Ernst M. Wurster,
Sheriff of Washtenaw county; or if
such dogs are allowed to run at large
they must be vaccinated and securely
muzzled. Any dog found at large
in contravention of these terms may
be killed, and any person violating or
disregarding these provisions places
himself liable to a fine not to exceed
$500.00 or imprisonment not to exceed
six months.
This has been necessitated by the
fact that many dogs infected by rabies,
a communicable and infectious dis-

Prises of the tags to be sold on
campus May 14 and 15. for the bene-
fit of the Student Christian assoria-
tion Fresh Air camp, have been plac-
ed at $1 and 50 cents, Henry S. Grin-
nell, '28, chairman of the camp com-
mittee, anounced yesterday.
Letters have been sent to all or-
ganized houses, asking that each
member give $1, and in that way each
house will average $30, the approxi-
mate cost of keeping one boy in camp
for one month. It is hoped that the
studlents will this year sendi more
campers to the Student Christian as-
sociation spot on Patterson lake than
ever before. This is practically the1
first chance that the students of the
University have had this year to do
any real charity work, and it is hoped
by the committee that this chance will
be fully realized.
