After a short workout, the little runner announced that he expected to remain in Ann Arbor for the next four or five days -in order to train for his next and final engagement of the present indoor ,season, the Bank- ers Meet, March 30, in Chicago. He is anxious to get used to a dirt track after running on the boards all winter. The Boston star has just complet- ed one of his most successful sea- sons in Eastern track circles. Among his victims are numbered Ray1 Conger, and Dr. Peltzer, the German ace, whom he defeated in the I. C. A. meet March 10 in New York, when he established .a new world's' record of 1:51.4 for the half mile. Following the Eankers Pfeet, in which he will compete in a special mile race against Joie Ray, Sivak, and Shimek, I. A. C. stars, Hahn plans to return to his home in Nebraska to rest before the opening of the outdoor season.
