sequently four trial and two .ieii-
final heats will have to be held for
this event.
Three heats will be run in the half
mile, two men qualifying in each for
the finals. Three trial heats and two
semifinals will be necessary in the
hurdles, as 34 men are entered.
The finals will be decided tortorrow
night, beginning at 6:30 o'clock, whenI
the pole vault will be run --ff. The
first running competition will begin at
7:30 o'clock. The semifinals in the
60 yard dash and 70 yard high hurdles
will be held preliminary to the finals
in these events.
