SUSPEND STUDENT FOR VIOLATION OF AUTO BAN Frank Michelson, '30, has been sus- pendeti from the university for driv- ing a car without registering it over the week-end of the J-Hop, it was an- nounced recently from the office of J. A. Bursley, dean of students. The action came after consideration of the case by the University Discipline com- mittee, and the ,suspension is effective for the rest of the school year CONGRESSTAKES REST (hy Associated Press.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 14-Harrassed echoes that lurked in the crners of the House and Senate chambers took to week-end rest as Congress stood in recess. Only committees labored with the nountains of legis- lative business awaiting action, and even they accomplished little of a definite nature in preparing important bills for their floor hearing. Appearance of John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and decisions to invite Will H. Hayes, movie czar and former Repub- lican national committee chairman,; to come next week 'shared in interest beCfore the Teapot Dome investigating committee. The financier, while corn- mending wholeheartedly the commit- tee's work, could tell it nothing of the Liberty bond transactions it is seeking to trace. .; - -.. ........: ... i Detroit T1heaters . ... .n~rnr ...................... ..I. ~CASS THEATRE ILAST 2 WEEKS- ~Wednesday MAat... .$1.00 to $2.50 SEves..............1.00 to $3.50 lore Appealing and Interesting I the Oftener You See It - CI1WAR & )LANI)EL'S a, S"GOOD NEWS" Woodward, at Eliot Ii BONSTELLJE PLAYHOUSE NIGHTS, 750', $1.50.
