Aside from the class teams which
will vie for honors, the independent
teams have used considerable ingen-
uity in naming their respective quin-
tets. Among the names chosen are:
Sleepy five, Wolverine cubs, It group,
Sphinx, Hoosiers, Ten cannibals,
Knights of the Garter, Bearcals,
Odelots, Oakland gulleys, Lowry7
group, Gogebic, and the 1108''s.Tei
Big Ten is weft represented wvith
such teams as Wisconsin, Purdue,
Northwestern, Ohio, Illinois, M4inne-
sota and Indiana. The Mt. Clemens
club-has also entered a quint in the
competition.; Another group calls
itself the volleyball five.
All the 1)ayers who expect to par°-
ticipate in these court contests, and
who have not yet taken the required
physical examinaion, are requestedl to
do so before playing. The examina-
tions will be given at the health serv-
ice. In the case of men who are play-
ing ,both fraternity and class basket-
ball one examination will be suffi-
cient.
