This meet will bring to- gether some of the foremost' switi- mers in the United States, including Johnny Weissmuller, Buck Samson,} and Bob Darnall. Coach Bill Bachrach of the I.A.C. will bring a star aggregation of seven swimmers to Ann Arbor, in ~an effort to vanquish the Wolverines. Opposed to the Tri-color natators Coach Matt Mann will assemble the strongest Michigan team that has yet competed in a dual meet this season. Relay Will Be Feature Johnny Weissmuller, world's cham- pion swimmer, Buck Samson, best collegiate natator of 1927, Paul Man- ovitz, captain of the 1927 Northwest- ern university tank team and Hugo Miller will compose a great I.A.C. relay quartet. Their opponents will be. the fastest relay teams ever turned out at Michigan, consisting of Capt. Bob Darnall, Al Seager, Raw'son Hos- mer, and Frank Walaitis. Darnall will endeavor to match strokes with Weissmuller in the 50 and 100-yard free style events. Hos- mer or Seager will be the other Michi- gan entrant in these events, while Manovitz may represent the I.A.C. In the breast stroke Bachrach has entered Richard Peterson, holder of the National Interscholastic record in the breast stroke, and Manovitz. Wag- ner and Thompson are the swimmers who will strive to annex some points for Michigan. Samson In 440 - Buck Samson and Miller will race against Garnet Ault and Tom WatsonI of the Wolverines in the 440-yard free style.
